How did you get your job?

I got my first job through my friend. My friend was working at a place and he took me and helped me joining the job. I really wonder that you worked for 6 years to get a job.

Other, sort of. I work with my mother at a veterinary clinic that is in the neighboring city. She has been mentioning that I have wanted to work there ever since she started, but for a long time I have been too young. Also, he had a policy that family members were not allowed to work there together, because he did not want any family work quarrels. After hearing about how every place I was looking for required job experience or for me to be eighteen years old, he decided to let me work every other weekend just so that I could tell my next job that I did have experience in a workplace. It is terrible that most businesses requre a previous work experience in order to be considered. How was I going to get a first job if everyone requires that I have a first job? So, I am really grateful to my boss for doing this for me. :)
