I like eating eggs particularly hard boiled eggs. Some times I boiled several eggs at the same time but I only ate one and kept all the others in the refrigerator for later. But I don't like eating cold stuff. I want to warm up the hard boiled egg before eating. But every time the egg was exploded. Can someone tell me why the egg exploded like a bomb?

Aaah, the many times my brother attempted this! I don't know, for sure, but I think the reason is that microwaves excite water molecules within a food, which causes the food to heat up. If you've got a bunch of water that's tangoing and doing the jive in the middle of an egg, the energy has to go somewhere and pop! I wonder if you could heat them up by warming up a pot of water and letting them sit in the water for a bit. I know you can slice them and microwave them, but that might not work, depending on how you eat the hardboiled eggs.

I think there must be some air trapped inside the egg. Some times I cut the egg into half and put it into microwave. They still exploded.
