i heard from my native friend who live in American about a American lady's biased view of china. she suggestted my friend not return china,it's better for him to stay USA. she think china is terrible. haha, i think most froeign friends who do know china little. i'm a common civil in china.but i love my country.especial since the earthquake happened in china. i was touched deeply by what my country lead have done and nation spirit. we are a united nation. foreign friends think we haven't human right.in fact, we have but only in form it have a little different from other countries.chinese are friendly and kind-hearted. i also don't deny that there are some bad people in china. i think every country is almost.

It's sad that people speak with disrespect towards something they don't understand, or have no knowledge of. Americans tend to think of our country as the most wonderful place in the world to live. Some of us can't see past what we think. Thanks for telling us a bit about what China is like. I never heard that Chinese didn't have human rights. Americans have far less rights than we believe. My limited knowledge of China is this_ Please forgive me if I hurt your feelings in any way. I'm interested in learning more about your country. I have heard two things about China. One, is the country is over-populated and Chinese have only a small piece of private space. Two - I have heard that America has contributed to environmental problems in your country. I am humbled by the response from your nation's actions after the disasterous earthquake. Our government failed to help the people in New Orleans after the flood consumed that city. We had many volunteers, but government aid was postponed and inadequate.

I'd like to ask, also, the country only allows you to have 1 child? Is that feedom? The only other problem is the way they control thier currency? They peg it insdead of letting it float like the rest of the world? Why is that? I have a friend, we worked for General Motors, we were engineers. I went to Mexcio to work and he went to China for 2 yaers, (they make Buicks there) he came to Mexico to visit, he liked his stay in China so much he went back. That tells me alot,he loved it there! Thanks tdemex

As much as we say that the one child policy is an opression of freedom, we continue to ignore what it has done for us. Without it, the world would become even more overcrowded, and resources would not be able to cope, unless we then gave up our own right to have more than one child. =]

China is a great country, and it would be better if it did not have Communism and if Tibet were free.
