Abject poverty amidst worldwide resources!

God in His infinite love, mercy and kindness provided abundant resources on earth to go round, as He wants everybody to be happy and thankful to Him. Why are most people living in abject poverty and privation amidst these vast resources? The reason to me is man's greedy which means ingratitude to our creator. We are greedy because we do not love our brothers and sisters, friends, neighbours and colleagues. Every bad thing on earth stems from "disregard for the other person's feeling".
