Any detective novels you can suggest?

Do you know any good detective novels? I like the stories of sherlock holmes and stories made by jacques futrelle.

Have you ever read any of Susan Sloans books? I think she only has four or five out. Maybe more now. That woman can write. She use to be a criminal lawer or something. Anyway, the three or four I read were really good, I didn't even intend to read them and before I knew it I couldn't put it down.

If you like detective novels then you should check out James Patterson. He has a series that includes Detective Alex Cross who is easy to relate to. In Cross Country he even travels to Darfur to find a killer, but learns far more.

I am not sure these are in book form but i love the TV series of "A Midsummer Murder", they always have a good mystery to them and has you guessing to who the murderer is...
