My response would sound like a lecture to everyone but this is the way I think.CORRUPTION is ruining everything in India. Some people get job just because they are recommended by some famous or important or powerful person. Another reason is the way people think in India. Almost everyone thinks that only thing that matters is your degree and your score in the exams. It's not always true that the person getting highest score in exams is as intelligent and hard working as the others. He or she might not even have enough knowledge to stand in that position but still they would be successful in getting a good job because of their high score in exams. This definitely limits your thoughts and ideas. This pressure of getting higher marks puts a person in a stressful situation. With the increasing competition day by day it is really difficult to explain it to each and every single person.

I'm not in India and really have no experience with employment in India, but it seems to me that the world wide web really levels the playing field. If a person decides to sell on eBay or become an infopreneur or any one of a number of other ways of pursuing a living - no one checks your degree or how well you did in school. One book that I've read several times, Rich Dad Poor Dad, puts it well: Why do you want to *climb* the corporate ladder? Why not *own* the ladder? When corruption is the problem, don't let corruption become your excuse for giving up. Learn the rules and learn to succeed within (and even in spite of) the rules. My 2 cents :)

I agree. That's the other way out, but not everyone has the capacity to run their own business. Who wants to take risks when they have limited or no finance?

I dont think that it is a problem right now....the new industries have come and there are new sectors opening ...there are immense oppurtunities ..the only thing which matters...is the talent....and trust me...if you have the talent they have the job....

I think the main problems are population growth and corruption. due to population, the competition is harder. Due to corruption, never the right candidate gets chance.then there are other issues like not up to the mark students.
