What a way to start the morning!

I got the scare of my life this morning:
I am here at my daughter's house watching the grandchildren. Since I chose to stay the night, I brought my Kitten "Stubby". He is only 10 weeks old and got his name because he was born without a tail,.
I didn't realize that I hadn't seen Stubby this morning and began to change diapers, feed and clothe the grandchildrene
I was sweeping the kitchen and went to get the dust pan from the closet(this is a large storage closet), I looked down and found that Stubby had his head caught in a baby bottle, I really thought that he was a goner. I managed to cut a hole in the bottle so that he could atleast breath. I put dish soap, oil and butter all around Stubby's neck, I finally got his head out. He has now had a bath to remove all the stuff I put on him and seems to be alright. I don't know how long he was like that, but I sure am getting alot of purring and rubbing from him.
I am hoping thats all the excitement I have for the day, I couldn't take anymore. Anyone have this much excitement today?

I haven't had that much excitement, but my daughter has been teething all morning. She is going to be 6 months old on the 11th of this month and she is growing in her 3rd tooth. She has that many teeth already and they hurt her so bad. I have given her Tylenol, pain relieving gel and toys upon toys for her to chew on and she is just miserable. Right now she is asleep. I guess she passed out from all that excitement she was going through. I'm glad that your kitten is okay.

Thanks for responding, yes, Stubby is okay now. I know how sad it is to watch a little one have to go through so much pain. I am betting they are pretty big and that is why she is experiencing so much pain. My grandson just went through that, I took a carrot and peeled it so that he could have something to chew on. He wouldn't take to any of those teething toys either. Try the carrot, they seem to like the taste, I know it worked for him. I hope yours and her day gets better.
Thanks, again
Karen
