It's hot hot hot

It's getting really hot again today. Yesterday it got up to 100 and to day it is supposed to get up to 101. It is really keeping the AC going. I have it set at 83. I probably should set it up to 85 but then it feels even hotter. I put some of that reflector on the south facing windows and keep the blinds closed during the day and that really makes a difference. But the AC is still running a lot. I sure hope this heat waves breaks soon.

Hello deebomb, honestly, my husband and I are looking forward for real summer..LOL, been raining in our area a lot and we both don't enjoy it! I am looking forward for some sunshine this week since weekend will be rainy days again!

Yea, if only we could share..LOL! Weekend will still be rainy days but next week, according to the forecast we will be enjoying plenty of sunshine..wohoo!

Yes, it's pretty hot here in Southern Indiana as well. The temperatures we are having are like August temperatures. We don't seem to have spring and fall weather at all over the last few years, it just seems to go from winter to summer. I think if it wasn't so humid it would be aa little better. I feel sorry for the people who don't have air conditioners.

It has skipped spring here this year too. I hate the humidity. We don't seem to have much at the moment. I feel for those that don't have Ac too. The police department has been collecting fans for those that don't have them or can't afford them. I have the fans going as well as the AC

I have my AC set on 71 but it cant even get that cool with the heat outside. It's been 74 to 76 in here all day long.
I dont care, it's alot cooler in here than it is outside.
My poor plants I'm going to have to make sure to water everything tonight.

yeah its so hot down here espically the South where im at we've been in the 100's or near to sine Monday , ughhh its like i have to take double showers cause i take one everynight before i go to bed so now i take one when i get up in the morning and when i go to sleep its crazy..

Yes it has been hot here in tn as well but only in the upper 90's and we have the a/c on but i have a pool to go and cool off to.but now that is like a bath the water is warm today it was like 86 inthe pool.summer is not here yet.I say we are in for a hot summer.

*6 in the pool that doesn't sound very cool. Maybe you could add some ice cubes to cool it down. LOL. I agree we are in for a long hot summer. We did have some showers yesterday and that helped some. It's about 9;00 am and the temp is at 82 so far. Tonight is supposed to get down to 75 which will be nice and only up ti 98 tomorrow. COME ON TUESDAT

This warm up here in Pgh just seemed to come out of the blue . Few weeks ago it was rainy , and chilly . Now the sun is out and temps in he high 90's.i have the ac up , and plan to do as much swimming as possible .
