Rising ocean acidity threatens islands

India

Hi, Rising acidity in the ocean caused by seas absorbing greenhouse carbon dioxide could make low-lying island nations like Kiribati and Maldives more vulnerable to storms as their coral reefs struggle to survive. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is at its highest level in the past 6,50,000 years and half of it has now been dissolved into the oceans making them more acidic.

Where in the heck did you get this info from? Do You have any idea how much water is contained in the oceans and how much acid it would take to bother any of that water at all? Your information just doesn't make any sense. Beamer23
