After lengthy consideration, I finally bit the bullet and got laser eye surgery. Those of you who have researched the two options: Lasik and PRK know that the difference is Lasik requires the the eye so the corneal flap can be lifted before the laser is applied to the eye, whereas PRK doesn't require the eye to be cut and the eye is directly lasered. Upon consultation, I opted to go the PRK route despite the lengthier healing time required (about 2 weeks for PRK vs 2 days for Lasik) but the chances of night vision glare and dry eyes are more reduced than with lasik. I am wondering, for those of you who have done laser eye surgery, or who are considering it, which route you would prefer and why? I was quite happy with the PRK and would do it all over again.
