Our plans are fairly easy on the wallet and mind. We will grill some food, have my mom over this year and we have a park outside our back door, so we will go to the park with a blanket and such and watch the town fireworks display. What are your plans?

Hi, yesterday was just our Independence Day here in the Philippines. I just spend it by eating dinner together with my family and my inlaws and my parents. It was fun as I got to see my niece and nephews. theyre so cute. anyways. familys are best to be with in holidays so good luck to your plans.

I agree for the most part. Unless the said family drives you nuts. ;)

what we always do is buy something for ice cream usually homemade...and then we will buy like stuff for steaks and hotdogs and hamburgers... and we usually make it so we have fun all day long...and our neighbors do a lot of fireworks every years so we just go and watch them or either sit on the porch and watch them...its always really nice around here at the fourth of july...its a really nice time of the year...

Yeah, our neighbors favor bottle rockets and not the fun stuff, so I am not thrilled with them at all. Especially when we go through dry spells like we did last year.

We go to the 4th of July Parade in the morning (which we were in last year and will be in again this year). Then we go home and have a barbecue and watch the fireworks from our front lawn.

Yes, I forgot our town has a little parade too. Usually just the fire trucks and the high school football team. Maybe the band too. They walk by on a certain route that goes by the front of our house and they throw candy out to the kids. It is a blast. Usually there is the crowning of Miss Butler Days too.
