I think wearing a uniform is helpful for people like me who don't like choosing what clothes to wear. It makes my life a lot easier. and our uniforms are different per day so I don't really get bored wearing uniforms. And we also have wash day wherein we can wear anything. have a nice day!

Well. My company requires all of us to wear uniform from Monday to Thursday. On Friday, we could wear anything we like (May be not those that eye catching enough) For me, I like wearing casually at work. Because I feel uncomfortable when in formal clothes. After all, we are here to work not to try to get used to those uncomfortable unforms. Anyway, I am tired of waiting for Friday.

It depends what nature of job you are working on. If you work in military or places with distinctive uniform nature then it is better to wear a uniform. Somehow it will help you get things done, ie. if you are a police, you will not have to show your badge all the time you need to do your job. If you work in an office, when you are wearing a uniform you will be wishing you are wearing the latest fashion. If your uniform makes you feel good it is better to wear at least you don't have to spend time everyday making decisions of what you have to wear. And clothes makes a difference to your day. If you wear something that makes you feel ugly or uncomfortable it affects your moods, which affects your performance at work. If you have the freedom to choose your clothes everyday, you end up spending so much time and money on your daily outfit, at some point you get tired of it and the cost of laundry would be high, so more expenses. Where as if you have a uniform you don't have to think everyday and you don't have to spend much time doing laundry or spending money on laundry. So, I think its better not to be on uniform.

for me i prefer to wear uniform than free choice of clothes. its easy for you to dress up if you have a uniform. and less headaches for us to decide what's to wear everyday.

I am used to work in my office wearing with whatever formal clothes I wish as long as they look decent. T-shirts and jeans are not allowed during office hour. I surely would feel uncomfortable and uneasy to wear uniform. The monotonous uniform we wear daily would also make us feel bored and tedious in the office. Different colors and fashions of clothes of the staffs in the office could bring funs for us and could make the atmosphere of the office much lively.

In some environments it is necesary I guess, like miners or factory workers and stuff like that. Other wise I think it is boring and takes away from ones own personality.

I think each choice have advantages and disadvantages. But I think wearing uniform does provide more advantages as compared to those that are not wearing uniform during work.

I would welcome wearing a uniform to work is my company provided it, as it makes getting ready to go to work so much easier. There's no worry about looking up to date or fashionable, worrying about what goes with what or what is suitable for the environment. I used to provide Tshirts for my team to wear and then they would add their own black trousers or shirts. It was not compulsory, but they all wore them by choice.

I really think..At work you shud be like allowed to wear anythin..No uniforms as such But then..THis liberty shud be given in certain limits as well Provocative Dressing shud b discouraged to maintain the decorum of the Workplace

I don't know about you but i prefer free clothing, firstly it takes too much time to put it on as apposed to a t-shirt and shorts. Secondly you have to make everything right, when i mean everything i mean everything, your tie has to be straight and even, you buttons have to all be done up and you must have the blazer on when you come in. So i choose free choice! =D

Thats really going to depend on your work environment. Most places make you wear a uniform of some kind so that you are distinguishable from everyone else shopping at what ever place of business that your at. it promotes good customer service. Now on some jobs its not necessary to wear a uniform. Ive had two of these jobs in my life and for what i was doing, i was definitely more comfortable doing my work in my own cloths.

Hi bea_29!! I think for me wearing uniform at work is a must for every company. Having a uniform helps a company or office be known and distinguished from other companies. It also prevents employees to wear inappropriate attires at work. Attires which are not too casual nor too formal but a corporate look would be best. It also helps employees lessen their expenses on buying too many clothes and accessories. So for me I would prefer wearing uniform at work.
