What's Wrong with my Pet?

Hello mylotters!! Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my pet? I have a male shih-tzu. He's turning 7yrs. old by December. I am a little bothered by the changes in his attitude. He seems to be sleeping all the time. He doesn't like to play with his toys anymore and with me. He doesn't even like to go out or hang out in the garden. A few years back I can remember he's so playful and very active. He always likes to play with me. But now he just wants to lie down and sleep. I know I have never neglected his health. Besides he still eats well so I guess theres no problem with his health. But it really bothers me to see him like that. Sometimes I feel sad for him.. Can someone please help me? Has anyone experienced this with their pets? What did you do?

I would suggest seeing a vet to make sure there is no physical problem. If there is no physical problem it could many things. My Peke gets like this when it first starts getting hot out every year. He also does this when he is mad at me for something. It's like he is pouting...lol. He gets over that pretty quick, though. I good walk to somewhere we don't usually go takes him right out of his mood.
