what is diff between PHP and action script??

By functional wise i dont find much diffrence between two, what ever i can do using action script same can be done with PHP... i may get more knowledge from you...

PHP is a general purpose scripting language that is specially suited for web development and generally runs on a web server. While Action Script is a scripting language base on ECMA Script, and is used primarily for the development of websites and software using Adobe Flash Player platform.

PHP and actionscript are nothing alike. PHP is a server side scripting language, and actionscript is used for flash applications.

They can't really be comapred at all. PHP is a real programming language. I guess the main difference is that PHP is a server side scripting language whereas action script has to do with client side flash.
