How many of you know how to do CPR? I do, i'm CPR and first aid certified. I took the course before I became a Mommy!

I took the class at the hospital before I brought my daughter home. She was in NICU so all the parents who's children are in NICU had to take the class. My hubby got the certificate for CPR and first aid.

Because of the field of work I am pursuing, I have to know CPR and First Aid. (I have taken the courses previously and I'm up to date, so I'd still be qualified even if it were not required of me.) Anyway, I think everyone should know basic First Aid and CPR-you never know when you might need it! And learning it before becomming a parent, I think, should be mandatory! It should be included in pre-natal classes, etc. What a good idea that you did that!

I agree with you it should be included in pre-natal classes. I think everyone should learn it before becoming a parent. I'm glad I knew it because I saved my sons life last week when he was choking. Thanks for your great response!

I don't know CPR but I would love to learn how to do it. I know that it's important to learn this because like you said, you'll never know when you'll be needing it. Even if I am not a parent, I'm interested to learn this.
