Ok, I've always wondered this... Why do actors/actresses name their kids dumb names? Apple? Honor? (Jessica Alba's baby girl!!!) Rupper? (Demi Moore's daughter) Talullah? (Demi's other kid) Nala? (Halle Berry's kid) Violet? (Ben Affleck) I mean with all the names in the world!?!?!? What the freak?

Because they can. They're "above" traditional names. I personally like the name Violet. Demi Moore's kids...Rumor, Talullah and Scout...ugh, not so much. But leave it to Michael Jackson to really take the cake with his kids' name...I can deal with his daughter Paris's name. I would be embarrassed if my parents named me after the place where I was conceived but Paris has gotten to be a common name so no big deal. His son's names just blow me away...Prince Michael and Prince Michael II! And if that's not bad enough, to lessen the confusion, Prince Michael II goes by the name "Blanket".

YES - Rumor not Rupper - what was I thinking. I think that names after places, colors, food - should be outlawed. Poor kids!

Well I think that after seeing names like Test Pilot we need to stop and think. Of course I think one of the main reasons for the star's unique name selection is to give there child the star advantage. Being in the business themselves they know how important it is to be unique. Also, by naming there child something off the wall will prevent average people like ourselves from naming our children after there children.

Its cause they can. haha, I really dont know, I think they do it because they're famous, and they dont want a name like jordan, or sarah, because there are a ton of other kids out there with that name, if celebrities stand out from other people, they want their kids to as well.
