I haven't found the magic cure for Hot Flashes or Night Sweats. The only relief I have found is a fan. Any ideas?

There are certain medications that can help (both natural and conventional) such as yam extract and effexor (an anti-depressant-which is strange, because one of the side effects is night sweats....) Anyway, I haven't found a cure yet, but I sleep on a couple nice, large, fluffy towels (with a fan) and when I wake up soaked, I quickly wipe myself down and discard the used towels. It's worked for me and I can usually fall asleep relatively quickly after I awake. Again, it's not a cure, but it might help you manage until you find a suitable alternative.

Towels are great for drying off after the night sweats. I have used corn starch baby powder but end up with paste.
