The Yankees wasted a great pitching performance by Mike Mussina today losing to the Royals 3-2. Jose Guillen hit the go ahead home run off of Mariano Rivera to give the Royals the lead in the top of the ninth. In the bottom of the ninth, the Yankees loaded the bases, but came up short with Melky Cabrera ending the game with a gound out to first. Alex Rodridguez had a two run shot in the 7th to tie the game at 2.
