I Want to Respond to my Friends' Discussions but They Already Have More!!!

I really wanted to post new responses to my friends' discussions but they already have numerous responses to them...will they still care about my response? Most of their discussions interest (especially that of beautyqueen's and sunkissed) but then they already have numerous responses posted.
Do you guys respond to discussions with plenty of resposes already? Please enlighten me, thanks!

Hello,
I will respond to any discussion that will catch my eye. In my book there are never too many responds. Yes, I myself have came across many of their discussions as well, and have left a comment.
