I give them to my relatives. But if these are garments that I don't have the guts to give away, i give them to my sister and niece instead. At least I know my clothes are in good hands.

no, i don't waste them. there are a lot of less-fortunate people that don't have clothes. and i don't think it's right to throw away the things that those people can't afford to buy.. ^_^

I will give my old clothes which can be used again to some people who needs them. There are many poor people who doen't have enough food and clothes and there are agencies who work for these people. Some times I will donate my and my family's reusable clothes to one of these agencies and some times I directly give them to those people I know who need old clothes.

A very simple but a genuine question. Well i dont do anything with my clothes, its my mom who gives away my old clothes to either my younger cousins, or to orphanages or to people who she feels reqire it. I am kind of stingy in that matter, i do not like to part away with my things that easily! I do let my mom give away my clothes though. There are certain things which i am very particular about and dont like to part with at all and it dosnt even matter to me if it rots in my cupboard as far as have that item or dress.

I will give to Tze Chi Fountain, a local Buddhist Compassion Relief. Not only old clothes, it also collects anything that can be recycled, such as used newspapers, used electrical appliances...

I usually give it for donation. Or if there are somebody else's who would want to go through my things and would want it. Probably for personal gain, we can set up a garage sale and sell the things we don't need. Similar to a flea market (I think!). This will not limit to our clothes but extend to other accessories, house furnitures, etc.

I usually donate mine to a second hand store like Goodwill. It helps to cut down on the amount of trash that is in the landfills and helps someone else get good clothes at a decent price =)

I will give the old clothes to the poors. If the clothes are not old, but I won't wear them any more. Then I will consider to give them to my friends. I don't like wasting. I love China

Last year I lost 25 lbs. so I had alot of clothes that didn't fit any more and they were in good condition. I bundled them up and took them to work and my friends picked out what they wanted. My neighbor is also a couple of sizes larger than me so I gave some to her as well. Periodically throughout the year I will make a trip to our local hospice thrift store and donate old clothes that have accumulated in my basement.

For my old clothes, I usually give them away to my relatives and sometimes neighbors. It depends who will ask first. But for some of my clothes I had it donated to less fortunate people here in my place.

I usually give them to the Salvation Army. If they are messed up, I toss them away. If I don't gove them to the Salvation army..then I have a yard sale and get what I can out of them!

when i was in college, my organization has this activity called "rummage". we donate old clothes for the organization's fund raising. then what we do is sell the clothes in a nearby town for the cheapest price you can ever imagine. for example, a shirt was originally bought for $40, we'll sell it for $0.75 only. then the proceeds go to the organization.

I freecycle our clothes. Some (t-shirts, soft fabric) I recycle into cloth napkins, cloth diapers or reusable nursing pads, I'll recycle the boys jeans into skirts that I can sell and use the $ to get new (to us - thrift store) clothes for the chidren.

We sell ours in a yard sale. People will buy anything if it's cheap enough. We usually sell them for 25 cents. They sell quickly because we usually have nice clothes even if they're old.
