Is happy is sunny in England!! Is summer finally here??

We dont normally have sunshine but this is 3 days running now, and the last 2 I have been stuck indoors working so am going to make the most of today as Im off!!
I have some errands to do but might take my book and just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine!!
What do you all like to do when its sunny and your off??

well if its sunny and i am off i certainly love to potter outside.i may weed the gardenor clean up around the yard ,or somply sit in the sunshine and read.if it is summer here we always go to the beach late in the afternoon and enjoy the water.cheers sue

Unfortunately I live in a upstairs masionette so dont have the luxery of a garden. I have a balcony which I may sit out on. We have a yard which is mainly used for washing and the kids play around on it and pester everyone who walks past.
I would love to be able to visit the beach, I loved it when I was near the seaside. You walked out off the fence and ou were on the beach, though didnt go often as it wasnt always warm.

I think it finally is here. Like you I like to sit outside in the sun and watch my kids play. I like to read outside as well but my kids are a handful and they probably shouldn't play in the street. That would happen if I didn't keep both eyes on them. LOL

We just got the sunshine where I am. It was cloudy, dull and cold up until about an hour ago. Although I am not sure that we are seeing summer as from tomorrow it has given out cloudy and showers for the rest of the week. It is going to drop in temperature again as well.
I am really hoping that the met office is wrong because I am hoping to go out this weekend. So anyway make the most of today and enjoy your book and sunshine this afternoon!

summer here has just ended..we had swimming during the summer i enjoyed it a lot
