Do you listen to music while studying?

During my school days, I can't study without a music running on the background. It helps me concentrate on what I'm reading because it keeps me awake and enjoy studying. I find it hard to study when it's silent. I line up my cassettes (can't afford music CDs at that time) in front of our player before I start studying/reading.
How about you?

I listen to music whenever I can. Especially when I need to get something done. Music can help a task move along in a quick manner. I remember doing this when I was in high school. I couldn't concentrate when it was silent. That's a mentally draining feeling when your're trying to focus.

Yeah, I listen to music as well. It keeps me alive and more alert.
It even prevents me from getting sleepy especially when reading really long paragraphs and tons of pages. I also get to sing along the tunes on the radio. Makes me calmer and take in more info.
