a baby is being traded on ebay ? wow.. although i'm not really familiar with ebay, and so are the people here, but that's what local newspaper said here i read it just before, although it was an old paper, about one week ago i think they covered about a baby being traded on ebay a woman sell her eight months old baby boy for a start bid price at 1 euro ? hahaa, that must be a joke.. LoL and of course the police won't just stand still against this the paper reported that the police arrest the woman instantly although the women said that it's just for fun, the police didn't believe her and sued her with a charge for human trafficking well i think the lady there is stupid.. she should have realize the consequences from her act, and why does it have to be her baby boy as the object if i were her thinking of some kind of fun, maybe i'll put myself on ebay.. hahahaa another stupid thought .. LoL

Hello unuzzz, A mother is trying to trade her own baby? And the bid starts at 1 euro? It is not just kidding but more to ridiculous. No matter what is the reason - for fun, for a joke or whatever, I don't think it is a good idea. It's good that the police took an immediate action. We can let thing like this to happen. But sometimes, I still do not understand why a mother can sell her own flesh and blood, can kill her own child and etc. The world is going to end, maybe?

There have been hundreds of joke auctions on eBay, and I have no doubt there will be hundreds more. However, this really was a very silly thing to do and although the mother must have thought it was a joke, she has now had to face up to the fact that what she did was very stupid indeed. I put together a fake auction for my son when he was a teenager, complete with a photograph and a very full description, but I wouldn't dream of ever putting that auction up on the eBay site

I found this as immoral. Whether it is a joke or not. It goes against Ebay rules and human dignity. I hope that the advert was removed immediatedly. It is a bad taste.

I didn't read the article, but I did hear it mentioned by someone else. I think the mom made a terrible judgment error, but I believe she just didn't think her actions through. I doubt very much that she intended to actually sell her child on eBay. There are many for fun auctions on ebay. People who are starting an ebay store or who have an auction for something big or whatever, and they want to generate interest in all of their auctions so they come up with a funny, well-written, bizarre auction. I saw a mom auctioning off if she should cut her 5 year old's hair for the first time a couple years back- the winning bidder could choose to let the boy keep his long hair or cut it & donate it to locks of love. The auction itself didn't close very high, but all of the woman's other auctions got traffic from that auction. I'd bet that is what this woman was trying to do, and just didn't get that it was illegal, offensive and very bizarre.

hi eden32 hah ? that's a super strange auction.. hahaa well yeah, i also think it's not appropriate, i also agree with you that she mustn't be serious with that hahaa.. well i think i saw another two strange auctions the first, the seller was selling his DNA.. huhh ? the second, the seller is a girl, promoting herself for being friendly, warm, loyal, etc.. and she sold friendship.. i laughed that time she said that she'd be a good friend for people, just paying $5 and she'll become your pen pal .. LoL ridiculous .. thanks for responding eden32 ^^
