What is best single or married life?

I was watching a UK chat show on TV this lunch time where a female doctor of psychology claimed that single women are unhappy deep down. This was fiercly argued by the panel of women. So, which is best: married, or single life?

It is better to live single to get rid of more difficulties and sorrows.But if we sat for a moment think for of our life, we might feel a loneliness ,there were nobody to love us and to care us.If we are busy and there were less time to spare or think of us now and in future it is better to live single.But be sure that we won't feel any type of missing in future.I think that it is not possible.Because we may have some time in future to think of us for that time it is better to get married.

Personally I think the single life is better. Divorced and in particular widows act liberated as they become free to please themselves. It's nice to have a consort for holidays or weekends together, but lovely to have space too.
