Hi! Happy Independence Day to you too! Its only an hour away and I cant believe that our country has been a free country for 110 years! Thats really something to be proud of.^_^ Did you know that there is a simultaneous raising of flags throughout the country and in North America about 10AM tomorrow? It will air on the ABS-CBN network and Im guessing in The Filipino Channel as well. Its nice that all of us are really celebrating our freedom this year and its also good to celebrate with a BANG!^_^

Independence day is almost over here but the day went great. Everywhere I go in our city there are flags hanging from establishments and some children were carrying flaglets (is that a word??LOL) on their way to school. Enjoy your celebration on the 20th!^_^

Yeah, I wish we could celebrate it in the Philippines,it much busier,full of colors, fun and activities. Here in KSA eastern region the celebration will be on the 20th (June), right after Dr. Jose Rizal's b-day which is June 19.Anways we get to see a glimpse of the celebration in the Phil thru TFC and Pinoy TV.

Thanks jess368. Actually the celebration will be on the 20th of this month - here in KSA. The organizers have to move it that far. Aside from the Independence Day, we are commemorating the birth of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal which is on the 19th of June.
