I would like to share my last child birth experience. I had c-sections with all of my children mainly because my first was an emergency c-section and they recommend your next delivery is a c-section as well. my csection with my first was alright as well as my 2nd csection but my third is one that scares me and makes me say thank goodness got tubal liagation! The morning arrived and things were going great. It was a scheduled csection but we arrived there a little late due to getting lost in an area we arent to familiar with. We get in there and they get all the preperations done and i go in to have the procedure done, that goes very well i have to say i actually didnt get sick this time from the oxygen they gave me. I go get set up in my room and given medication for pain and of course i am hooked up to all of this stuff.. normal stuff i guess. They had me hooked up to the blood pressure thing, the heart rate monitor thingy and so on. Well all the sudden something is beeping and the nurse is telling me to take a deep breath and move my feet and then the beeping stops, it starts beeping again and everytime it beeps the nurse is telling me to move my legs and take a deep breath, well by the 5th time im aggrivated and im started to get pretty upset because im tired of this lady telling me to do this, i just wanted to relax and possibly get some rest because obviously the meds were kicked in high gear. Well the nurse leave and my kids father is telling me the same thing, i get aggrivated with him and he then tells me that they gave me morophine and its making my heart rate drop. well that begins to make me panic, They come in and tell me they need to take this blood work and that blood work and then it still was dropping so they wanted to do an ekg well that makes me worry some more and they never did tell me what the ekg was for. well the next day i was fine. Weird huh? I thought for sure that they tried to over dose me on morophine i guess when ur a small build like me you just cant take the normal dose. Has this happened to anyone before? or does anyone have any experiences like that they would like to share dealing with childbirth and csections?

Thanks for sharing your child birth experience, It just reminded about my second child birth it was C-Section even my first child was born with C-section itself , it was really very tough to think about that time, they prepared me for the operation and they gave anesthesia injection at back side it was horrible after the operation done the pain started from back and I was not able to take breath at all I dont know what happend and what they did for me, I was in terrible condition not able to take breath at all they kept oxygen still not working for me I was literally jumping my Doctor asked me to move legs continuously so that blood circulation will happen I did that but I thought may be I die, my aunt and my hub was with me I was shivering and my Blood pressure increase so much , they bought so many rugs to cover my body atlast after taking B.P tablet the B.P came under control and it became normal for me I have taken the breath normally!

Wow! its a miracle all the things that happen when you have a baby. some say its so easy but those of us who have to have a csection dont have it as easy i guess.

I don't think they gave youtoo much, even if you are very small then the dose will just get adjusted accordingly :) But pretty scary stuff - glad you are OK now :)
