why you need to hurry do posting? For me, I'm not in a hurry. I just take my time and want to enjoy every discussion that I join. I want to exchange views and ideas with the members and share with them my views too. I cannot do them if I will be in a hurry posting, and I won't enjoy either.
but some of the reasons i think other members would be in a hurry posting will be to meet their quota for the day. They set a goal on the number of posts they make a day, since this is also a money earning site. maybe they are in a hurry to post and achieve their quota so they could go to their other earning sites.
that's just my humble opinion. have a great day!

I'm not sure I can do that too unless I've been away for a long time and there's just too many topics that catches my interest...
Most of the time, I spend so much browsing, looking for discussions that is really in my field of interest.
There are times too when I can almost do one reply after the other but that doesn't happen a lot.
Or some people just read fast and their minds starts processing right away....

I think for each person they look at MyLot differently. There are days my post are long, and other times the discussions just leave no room for long post.

You are right. This is not a race and if you want to do a hundred posts in a day or just one that is up to you.
Posting quickly is not the best way to use myLot. I spend as much time reading posts as I do writing responses. I spend time rating other people's discussions and responses. I take time to look at people's profiles and sometimes to visit their website or blog.
Speedy posting will not necessarily earn more money. I think I probably earn as much for my activities as someone who has just made ten short posts.
We all have different ways of enjoying myLot and we all earn different amounts for what we do. There is no right or wrong or better way to earn.

I am not a native English speaker and one reason I join myLot is for improving my English. So I can not post 10 responses in 10 minutes. But for the native speaker, it must be easy. Some people like posting slowly and discuss with others, while some people like posting quickly and just tell other people what they think and never wait for a reply. That is different way for different people to enjoy in myLot. And it depends on their habits, no right or wrong. So, in my opinion, the one who post 10 responses in 10 minutes didn't have to do that, she or he just do what they like and want.

I personally would rather do a quality post if it takes more than a few seconds. I also only response to discussions if I really have somthing to say, unless of course it's a discussion like I just made it to 200 posts type ones.
