Girls... what am i doing wrong?

I know they have it rough, and to me they are emotionally screwed up... BUT WHY DO THEY ALWAYS WANT AN ANSWER THAT YOU CANT GIVE??? I broke up with my girlffriend about 2 weeks ago, and she wont stop asking why. I told her the truth. I dont think i can be with her forever. Is that not a good answer??? She still says that she doesn't understand... I dont know. I dont wanna talk to her, i feel bad but I just want her to move on so i can.

Why don't you think you can be with her forever? You just don't feel connected or you don't love her...was a at a particular point that you decided this? Did something happen or did you meet someone else or did she get on your nerves about somethings?
I would want to know as well, I don't think I would ask because what you said is enough for me, you don't want to be with me then goodbye. It is that simple sometimes. As it should be

Honestly her personality was bugging me. She started getting on my nerves alot, and i dont know if i could hurt her more by saying all of that. It's not what i would do. I really hate it when anyone makes a girl cry, and me doing that is just horrible... I just felt that there was someone for me out there and it wasn't her.

maybe you need to give her reasons as to why you dont think that you can be with her forever. sometimes us girls need things spelled out for us even if it hurts our feelings or makes us mad.

i just cant hurt her anymore and i think i will if i talk to her again... i cant even make it clear because i cant talk clearly when i talk to her now... i hate it.

After reading your answers I would venture to say that you, and she, will more than likely be better off just leaving the relationship "as is" with no more explainations. It seems that you have done pretty much all that you can do and now its up to her to accept it. I hope that all turns out well for you :-)

well....thats frank enough but still plainly you must have told her when you broke up with her...just imagine if she would have done the same for you ....how would you feel???i know you will understand it later but the period between that is very painful....is nt it??? but if you just tell them on the face ...then it will atleast reduce that pain....

true. if i was madly in love with her and she did the same i would be devastated... thank you for opening that up... it is painful just to see her hurt or else i could move on much easier... i just hope she doesnt do anything she shouldnt.
