how to deal with hypocrate people? I hate them but sometimes I need to be nice with them.

I have to deal with people like that at work-I work retail, so I have to deal with many different types of people. But I got some good advice from a friend-"Smile and nod". It helps and it also makes my days go a little smoother. It also works for kids as well.
