How often do you brush your hair?

Do you brush your hair in the morning? Do you style your hair after you get out of the shower, so that it won't look bad? Most times, I try to brush my hair in the morning when I wake up. Otherwise I go around all day looking a mess. Sometimes, when I lose my hair brush,. my hair gets really stringy and oily. It's not a pretty sight. When I get out of the shower, my hair looks a mess, even if I haven't washed it. The humidity and steam takes a real toll on my hair. Sometimes, I get so fed up with my hair that I wrap it in a towel and wear that around all morning. One of my best beauty tips is this. Wash and clean your hair brush at least twice a week or you'll just end up spreading oil through your freshly washed hair. Do you have a free beauty tip for gorgeous hair? Please share.

My hair is long and straight, so basically I just brush it a few times a day, more if I get caught in the wind or something!

I brush my hair every morning, it is long and so I have too. I tend to spend a bit of time on it in a morning as I like to look tidy when I go down to school. My hair is really dry through extensive and constant colouring of it, I cannot wash my hair very regular, I like to wash it twice a week but sometimes I have to leave it longer or else it just drys it out too much. It is in really poor condition, but unless I stop dying it then it will not get any better but I love changing the colour in my hair!

My daughter has super dry hair, too. I'm always looking for ways to deal with her unruly curly mass of locks. It's all over the place. I have no clue. And she doesn't want anyone to comb it, so that makes it worse.

My daughter has a slight curl to her hair, and it goes really frizzy after a night in bed. I bought a product from pantene like a friz serum thing and I just have to put it in my hair when I have washed it. I tried a little bit on my daughters hair and it is really good when I put it in she gets no tangles in her hair at all and I can brush it straight through the next day without any fuss. Thanks for BR xx

I normally brush my hair about a dozen times a day. I brush it first thing when I wake up in the morning cause I have bed head. My hair is almost always in a ponytail and I brush it throughout the day when I get a stray hair popping out of my ponytail.

I just got my hair permed, not very good I might add, so I can't brush my hair anymore or it comes out frizzy. It has been only 4 weeks since I got it permed and most of it is already gone and my hair is just limp. I need to go and get it done again but this time I will go to a more expensive salon since I went to a cheaper one and didn't get it done right. You get what you pay for. So I take a shower every morning and wet my hair and then after towel drying it, I pick it out and then leave it all day. In the evening I will brush it out before I go to bed because in the morning I will wet it again, or wash it.

Hie beautyqueen, I brush it at least twice a day. I have natural curls and it's wavy so I don't really bother to brush it much and ponytail it the whole day. And I always brush it first before I shampoo so that the knots will be untangled and easier to brush after blow dry. The tips friends have shared with me : A good one is to apply some coconut oil to the hair but not the scalp, before shampooing ( keep at least 20 mins ). The hair will be naturally moisturized, nourished and shiny. I always shampoo my hair at least two days once. I try not to delay too long as the hair will be very oily and I have to use more shampoo and conditioner for the hair instead. And a lot of hair loss too. Another technique for preventing hair loss from the crown is bend forward and always start shampooing the hair from the back of the head to the front. Maintain bending forward until you have finished washing the hair. Good luck in trying and Cheers,

I brush my hair in the morning and at night. Then I whenever I feel the need to brush my hair throughout the day, I do brush it. For the hair tip-when you are shampooing the hair shampoo on the scalp only so the excess oils will be removed then when putting the conditioner or any hair products only put it on the ends of the hair so that the products won't get into the scalp thus producing dandruff.

I often try and brush my hair every time I wake up. After that, I'd use the comb on my hair. The sister of my mother explained it to me that I should use a brush and then use a comb. Been doing that ever since and it has been very nice as well as convenient for me. After every bath and using a towel on my hair, I would use my comb while my hair is damp as I am infront of an electric fan just to get my hair dry. In case I can't brush and comb my hair early in the morning, I'd just tie it on a pony tail and do the usual things that I often do.

I like to fix my hair after I wake up and also before I go to bed! During the day, if I have to go anywhere, I will check on it and see if it needs to be done again! I think using natural shampoos with essential oils in them is better for good hair and strong hair too!

I don't brush my hair at all. I have very short hair so it doesn't need it. I'm a girl and I haven't brushed my hair in years. I would brush it if it needed it but it just doesn't.
