Do you worry about dust mites on your pillow?

Sometimes I've noticed that my pillow makes me sneeze. I think it's dust mites. I keep my pillow case changed, but that's not helping. I'm thinking about throwing this pillow away and getting a new one. Do dust mites in your pillow bother your allergies or make you sneeze?

Whats the content of your pillow. If it is the cotton plant thats in it and if you have direct sunlight open up the pillow, get the cotton inside and put it under the sun, the sunlight will kill all the dust and the mites in there. If it is made of synthetic materials, and it is washable put it in a boiling pot and pronto it will remove all the dust and the mites.

My pillow and my bed. I watched a show on Oprah about these horrible little dust mites and it made me sick to my stomach. Since then I vacuum my mattrise every time I change my sheets and that is at least once a week or less. I vacuum my pillows too before I put clean cases on them. Then about every 3 months I put my pillows in the dryer and let them run for about half an hour. I am now a bit paranoid about those dust mites.

I like pillows I can put through the washer and dryer sweety and I do that on a regular basis and I don't seem to have had any problems! i have heard that you can put a pillow in the freezer for 12 hours and it will kill any dust mites etc but I am not sure how effective this is! xxxx

Im more worried about bed bugs because they multiply more easily and can't be exterminated using commercial insecticide.
