My blinkers on a 1997 Lincoln Town Car quit working. How can I find the problem

One night they just quit working. I have checked the fuses and they are good. Replaced both bulbs on each side on the rear and still not working. No blinkers inside the car either. There are not any blinker relays to change. They are all combined into the theft, security module up under the dash near the steering wheel. This is about a $400 part if it is bad. I need to know all my options before I take it to a dealer to diagonose the problem as my last resort. Can anyone help me? My email is danhlds@yahoo.com. Thank you, Dan
