cooking or not cooking?

Do you think that know how to cook is an hability for life? Now i hear a lot of girls that say what? i dont cook im an independent and modern woman... is like they avoid to learn about cooking cause that will make her feel less... Mi grandmother teach us (my sisters and i) to cook all kind of recipes cause she said that it was an hability for life and that we have to learn about everything.
But this thing about resist cooking lessons from actual girls is for me very curious, cause i know how to cook a lot of recipes, and besides i have a very plenty education....
do you think that is just fashion or what?

Cooking is something i enjoy and relish. I love to cook new dishes for my family.
If girls think that cooking will make them classic and outdated it is just their stupidity. It is just another skill which has to be learned and mastered. It is a fulfilling thing to learn cooking

I think that they mistakenly think that by being able to cook they won't be seen as a modern day independent woman. To me that is just plain silly. Not only should girls learn to cook but so should men. Everyone can benefit from knowing how to cook. One can't afford to always eat out these days as you probably know. I also think that it is just laziness. As you know cooking a good meal is work as well as having to clean up afterwards. For myself I would get tired of eting out all the time.
