i'm a sad lil fan of this show! it was finally getting good and going somewhere, plus it went where most other shows were afraid to go! i think it needs to go to cable and then it can truly explore the dirt..
Courtney Cox's controversial TV drama Dirt has been cancelled by network bosses at FX after just two seasons.
The second season of the show, in which Cox played a feisty tabloid editor, was shortened by the Writer's Guild of America strike, and viewer figures slipped to just over one million per episode, prompting the decision to axe it.
Cox made the announcement, telling TVGuide.com, "It just got cancelled."
But the former Friends star, who produced the show with her husband David Arquette, already has other projects in the pipeline. She says, "We're developing all kinds of stuff right now. We'll be producing more stuff together, for sure."

i liked the show too. after the first few episodes though i didn't get to see it much. it just wasn't on at a good time for me. it was really interesting though. and i think it did give a glimpse into that world. its sad what they will do to get pictures of celebrities.
