Okay, I am not a vain person, but I try to find ways to help the skin stay young. Some are just blessed with beautiful skin, others need a little help... like me! Over the years, I have tried so many products, because they claim it will work. Well no...... they are not worth the money they ask for them. Just wondering what you ladies do for your skin, to help it stay youthful. Maybe some simple task, or!!! I think it would be interesting to hear from you on the subject. Love good advice?

Hi sarahsdesk. Well, what I use for years is a very cheap thing lol: mask of banana with honey. Knead the banana and mix with honey and apply. I have done it for years and it give elasticity for the skin. Now I use DNAge from Nivea too that is not expensive also. I think that both things work very well since I am a middle aged woman and a smoker and I don't have any wrinkles nor in my eyes or my mouth. Oh yes, and once a month I use to apply sweet almond oil with vitamin C for the most time I can. Hope it can help you my dear.

Hi sarah, you must cover your face and your neck with the mask of banana and honey (you can eat too lol)and let stay for 1 hour more or less. The sweet almond oil you can find at pharmacy or a store of natural products. The good thing is that all this is good, work, no problems with sensitive skin and are cheap lol. Try it for one month only to see the results and tell me after. You can use all this and the DNAge too at the same time because all this are natural (not the DNAge ofcourse but you can use it without problem for your sensitive skin). Use it in your hands too since I ever did and I have young hands.

Hi Teka! Okay.... banana with honey, kinda sticky, LOL! If it works for you, willing to try! Some home remedies are much better than store bought, only may not have a pleasant smell, or silky smooth texture. DNAge, from Nivea, I will look for that. I need to try one thing at a time, my research is adding up, thanks to my friend's on MyLot. One never knows until they try, only my skin is so sensitive, I have to be careful, can not use those face lift creams, breaks me out (takes wks to re-cope)!

I've tried Himalaya's Anti Wrinkle Cream - it's made from herbal products. Not expensive at all, and it's fragrance free. ANd of course weekly masks and facial massage & toning. You can do this on your own - I use St Ives firming mask - pretty cooling & effective.

Hi Sarah, I'm not sure where you can get this product, but I bought mine from Guardian Pharmacy here. Himalaya Herbal has a wide range of products from skincare to haircare and supplements - maybe you can check them out from the internet.

A person I know always keeps telling me that I should drink lots of water, as that is good for wrinkes. Makes sense, I suppose and water is also good for other things as well.

Yep, sylvia, I have heard that too. Drinking water is good for you, but..... I have a problem to remember.... how much water did I drink today? I do not drink enough, it is hard to find good tasting water, like spring water (remembering the taste right now). Thanks for your input!

Have you tried Aveeno Positively Ageless Lifting and Firming? I got a full size sample from BzzAgent campaign and I loved it. I noticed that this works very well for fine lines and wrinkles. It also firms up the skin. You will look younger!! I noticed results in just 3-4 days after starting to use it. If you would like a referral to BzzAgent, just PM me with your email address. It's a great program and you get to try lots of things free for just telling others about the products and program! It's pretty neat!

I have been using Arbonne' NutriMinC9 for about the past 3 months and I am sold on it! My wrinkles are not as deep, my age spots have lightened and no more bags and dark circles under my eyes! And I am 51 yrs old and have basically never done anything to take care of my skin on a regular basis! I looked in my mirror when I turned 50 and realized that what I saw was not how I felt! I feel young but was really starting to look old. I hated the thought of what others were seeing when they looked at me too. So, my friend turned me on to Arbonne and I am sold on it! Take a look at it at www.nomorehotflashes.myarbonne.com It will seem to be expensive but the system lasts for about 6 months so it works out to about $50 a month. But if you become a wholesale buyer you get a 35% discount. If you are interested, get back with me and I can send you a 5 day sample pack for free so you can try it. You should see a difference in 3 days!

Go to your dermatologist and ask about retinoic acid (Tretinoin). It's really about the only thing that's shown dramatic results on wrinkles. It's also used to treat bad acne. You have to be on two types of birth control in order to be prescribed it because the side effects are terrible birth defects, but it's about the only skin 'miracle' out there -- truly awesome stuff.

Forgot to add that avoiding sun damage, drinking plenty of water, good genetics, and a good diet are also good tips to avoid premature aging or damage.

Yep agree bonbon! My Mom wore long sleeves when working outside. She loved her flowers, and wore an old bonnet to protect her face and head. She never went out without covering up, top to bottom (light cotton clothing). Everyone commented... she did not look her age! I even use the 50 grade protection sun-blocker, and use the self tanning cream (light) to moisturize daily. You have to agree, a little tan helps us look healthy!

I use the Dove Intensive firming lotion...or Estee Lauder Resilence Lift extreme....both work wonders..but there is a big price difference. The Dove has a tendency to make your pores larger where the Estee Lauder makes your face very smooth. I think getting enough rest and water is also a factor.

Thanks Jillhill! Eating right, drinking water, exercise, plenty of rest....yesssss play an important role, am sure. I have not tried Dove, nor Estee Lauder yet. I have tried Oil of Olay products, so many out there! What about natural ingredients, have you tried anything unusual that works?
