A few years ago I asked my brother to trim my hair for me. Bad idea. When he got done it looked like I had a small piece of lettuce on my head. Everyone got a good laugh out of it...I ended up shaving my head and haven't grown any hair back since. I like the bald look. That was, however, my worst haircut ever. Do you have any memories of a bad haircut? What was your worst? What, if anything, did you do about it? To this day my brother will not get near me if I have a pair of scissors or any other cutting device.

There is one occasion which we still laugh at to this day. Some years back I decided I wanted a flat top haircut. I spent close to 10 dollars getting the haircut I wanted. When I got home with my wonderful haircut, our daughter remarked that they left a couple of hairs sticking up. Since she had trimmed my hair before, I asked her to fix it. I didn't realize the truth was that either she didn't know what a flat top was or she had seen so few that it didn't register what a flat top was. Those few hairs she trimmed up was and I emphasize the word was, my flat top. I haven't attempted one since.

That is Hilarious. Step away from the trimmer and no one gets hurt, at least not your hair...LOL.

Well buldwgz, I've never had a bad haircut really. My sister has always cut my hair and she is a professional hair stylist. She's been doing it for 20 years now. Unfortunately she lives in Virginia and I live in south Georgia. I have driven to see her for a hair cut. She has been the only one I trust. My hair is no longer long as in my avatar. It's quite short now. But my husband loves it; so that's all that matters. Ya' know, my husband is bald too, and it's VERY sexy.

When I was young I was walking through the mall with my mom and decided to get my hair cut. It was one of the just wal in places, no apponitment needed. We went in and told her what I wanted, by the time she was done with my hair, I looked like a boy. Nothing like what I said. Needless to say I was upset and to top it off I had to go to school and kinds can be cruel. From then on I only go to one place and I have the same person cut it.

Keeping the same stylist can be key. You are right, kids are very, very cruel. Glad you found the right stylist for you. Thanks for the response.

A piece of lettuce? that description made me laugh I think I've had bad haircuts in the past, but I've never really been ashamed or really embarassed by them. I think my overall hair fashion has been pretty good or at least ok.

Yeah, a piece of lettuce, can you believe that? Looking back it was quite funny. Thanks for your response.

I don't like my hair because it's natural and thick. It's difficult to style. That's why now I'm letting it grow long and when it's long enough I'll have it relaxed and trimmed to short again after quite some time.
