As I sit here watching TV this evening I am so angry about this new show Moment of Truth and this guy that is on here tonight. If you are also watching you will understand what I am talking about. If you missed it let me give you a brief idea what I saw. They guy was a young man who is an EMT who was a mormon. Some of the answers to his questions I could not believe. First of all, he was asked if fat people repulse him... he said yes....mind you we are talking about someone whose career is "helping people". He couldnt just leave it at that though, he had add that "well they could do something about it and that he thinks they are weak". Next, he was asked if he thought he could date any woman he wanted and he said yes. I cant believe how arrogant this guy was. Then they asked if his girlfriend was the prettiest girl he has dated and he said no. All along the poor girl is sitting right there hearing all this. I cant imagine having someone like this as a boyfriend. And the best part is when they asked him if as an EMT he has ever falsified a report and he said yes. But then he also had to add..."well no one died or anything". Makes you feel real secure right? I am just amazed that such people would have the nerve to go on TV and admit what kind of person they are. Do you feel the same? Am I over reacting?

No, you are not over reacting. This sounds like an insensitive man, and I am surprised he has a girlfriend. I don't understand how so many insensitive Neanderthals actually have girlfriends. Does this mean women have poor taste? Or there just aren't any decent men around? Cheers and happy mylotting

I am not sure I think people just "settle" sometimes and dont really get to know the kind of person they are getting with. I think this is true with men and women alike. They just see good looks and think everything will be perfect.

I avoid that show like the plague! I can't believe anyone would expose themselves or their families like that, selfish to the extreme. I get aggravated when I even see a commercial for that show on...I would let my older boys watch American Idol with me and I'd get so aggravated that they'd have this inappropriate commercial for this show on during a family show. I'm with ya... all in the name of the almighty dollar.

I agree there is no way a child should even see the commercial for this show. I myself dont even normally watch it but just happend to come accross it flipping through last night and saw this guy. And it is sad what people are willing to risk to make a buck. I am sure he will lose his job and girlfriend over it.
