How did the swoosh even happen

ive heard many different versions of stories of people claiming that theirs is how nike sought of the swoosh as their official logo. but truthfuly i dont believe any of them. the swoosh has nothing to do with anmy of the sports thay make apparel for???? what were they thinking when they decided to use it? thats what confuses me. and of course how they came up with the idea of the swoosh!

Well the woman was paid $35 bucks for it and got some type of ring and some Nike stock too , so she should be well off lol because she wanted a dress for prom , Nike actually means , Victory its Greek , that speical was very inlighting to me , i liked and watch it every time it comes on

Oh ask and you shall know. I watched about the history of Nike from the beginning until now on CNBC. The guy who started the company was a runner trying to design the lightest running shoes he could. Struggling in the beginning with his finances to put the company on the map he paid a lady to design a logo. The lady was paid something around $200 to design the logo at the time because nike was not even a household name. I mean who would have known the company would be such a big success. The guy who owns the company(I forget his name)who wheres his trademark sunglasses always on camara said he was too dumb to not know that the company could have been a flop. Later Micheal Jordan finished the job for him and made him rich.
