Do you make wishes on your birthday candles? WHat wishes do you make, and have any come true? My Birthday is coming up at the end of this month...and when it comes time to blow out the candles, I dont know what I will be wishing for. Are you ever to old to be wishing on a birthday cake candle?

It's never too old to have wishes,I believe. When I was a young student,I had wishes that I will got praise and scholarship at the final examination every year on my birthday, then I worked hard to realize my wish.Every year,I got my rewards for hard working. And I could buy things I love or have a travel to the places of interest by using the scholarship. Now,I have graduated from school, and got married.I wish my family will be healthy and we can have a baby this year, and I make this wish on my 27th birthday.I think,a good wish can move us to try our good efforts, and to be more responsible with ourselves.

It is a habit to wish in front of the birthay candles, and the reaction itself is the best wishes for yourself. I don't remember what I have ever wished on the candles, and so don't know if it has come true or not. I think your thoughts are right, I am a little old to have celebration on my birthday and it has been years without birthday cake and candles, so without birthday wishes. It is great that your wish has come true. You are a lucky person.

I do not know what I am going to wish for this year. I know that, before I turned ten, I had wasted at least six birthdays wishing that I could fly. And after that, I wished for stronger friendships between my friends. And, you're never too old to wish on anything. :3
