To sushi or to not sushi?

My husband is half japanese and he stayed in Japan for 10 years. he loves eating sushi and sashimi which i dont really like..
well, i do eat maki but not those sushi topped with uncooked fish..
if you're in my situation, would you like sushi or not..

Love it! Sometimes my wife and i get it for breakfast. She's not into the wasabi though. If it's not raw it's not sushi! lol

Love it! I'm sure you've been exposed to a lot of different neta, but you should try as many as possible, if you haven't already! There are lots of ones that people generally don't like (urchin is one that stands out to me), but things like unagi are soooo yummy (not raw, usually). Squid is also mild flavored and has an excellent flavor.
Some people don't like it or are too freaked out to ever enjoy it, but I say embrace it and love it. 
I'd eat it every day if I could afford it!

i've tasted unagi and i agree with you. it's yummy!! i like squid and shrimp as well.
you're like my husband that if he can afford eating it everyday, he will!!!

I absolutely LOVE sushi. My husband is a Japanese major and we're moving to Japan in a couple years. It's the grilled fish I have a problem with.

i love grilled fish and sushi is the one i don't like. but i already tried eating it and i just dont want to do it again. well anyway, we're also planning to move to japan in 2-3 years. hope to like it when we reside there.
