How to Create a Blog and Make money out of it? (Newbies)

Hi everyone, I'm just new here and i am really curious about making blogs. Although i have already ran up into some sites talking about blogging, still i am not cleared of doubts and questions about blogging. They are not that specific and technical. They don't provide you with a step-by-step approach and instead most of them just gives you a definition if not, an overview about blogging. I would like to hear from you guys, based on your first-hand experience. A list of the specific things that i must do will be most helpful because i really want to know how to do this and how to do that. How to get from point A to point B, from creating your blog up to the point of making money out of it. All suggestions are very much welcome here. Thanks a lot.
