I used to be obsessed with sight seeing birds with binoculous-I would watch birds with different shapes and colors in the wild and it is still an experience I cherish-do you like bird watching?

Yes, i'm kind of an amateur birdwatcher. i live in front of a woods so I see birds quite often and some of them will actually sit on my deck rail. I know a variety of bird types and am happy when unusual birds come to my feeder.

I do this once in awhile, but usually I watch birds at my bird feeder from the comfort of my living room. The other thing I like to do is watch raptors while out in my front yard. We have vultures, red tailed hawks, and the occaisional bald eagle.

I think watching any animal in its real habitat is great. Birds are very interesting. The way they sound different from each other and the different types of colors is truly amazing. I think going to a zoo is great but if you can see them in their natural environment, Do it.dl
