Ever Feel Like You're Short of TIME?

Oh my god! I am sure everyone would feel like that you are short of time somehow at some point. But do you constantly feel like that? I have been feeling like this constantly for a month. I feel like I don't really have time for nothing and there is always something at the back of my head that I NEED to finish. Staying busy is good but I am thinking staying crazily busy might not be a really fun idea for me! Would really love to sit back and relax.

if you feel that you are short of time and always rushing then there must be something wrong. you are caught in a web of deceit. einstein said that time is virtual, it does not exist.what we are doing is going ahead of out time. there is always a time for everything and we are the only ones limiting ourselves by doing so many things all at the same time. if you want to sit back and relax, you can.it's just that you do not want to give it "time" to do it. a work is never done, remember.so, instead of becoming a slave to "time", be the master and make your time ,your slave.

It's the mode of working here. Not sure if you know, but we work the longest hours when compared with the people in the rest of the world. Working is "our life" and people expect you to think and act like that too (that's why it's always so much work for everyone). I don't work over the weekends and that's why I insist to sit back and relax.

I used to feel like that when i was still a teacher... it felt like 24 hours in a day is not enough to complete all the tasks that needs to be done... and it drove me a little crazy... but now that i am not a teacher anymore... time is not a problem... i have plenty of time to be with my baby... and to do household chores... and relax from time to time...

It is what a radio show host named Art Bell used to call The Quickening, lol, and I hate to be the one to break this to you, but it gets worse over time. You think the only solution is to work, work, work, but the truth is you will never catch up, so the best idea might be to take half a day off and go to the beach or a park or somewhere and just to nothing. Helps to clear the brain. I have a little trick I use to help prioritize stuff. I draw a T on a large sheet of paper and on the top I write the problems and on the right side below I list all of the reasons whey the problem is insurmountable or the idea is not a good one or whatever, just all the negatives, and on the left side I list all the possible solutions, the things I really and truly do have to do. Then I start grouping the things that are alike on either side of the T, to see if there is any rhyme or reason to it. Often a pattern becomes clear. Sometimes when it feels like we are being pulled in a thousand different directions it is only one nagging question that needs resolution. However, untended it becomes like a weed with a thousand roots and strangles the garden.

Definitely! I start to really appreciate the time when I was doing nothing. It was such a great experience! I am not a lazy person and I still enjoy working but I don't like to be one of the machines.

Hello wondericequeen, I always feel that I don't have enough time for every thing though most of the time, I feel like I do nothing. Sometimes I feel like maybe I am not good with my time management but as far as I can see, I am not that bad in term of managing my time. Do you realize that time passes very fast now?

yeah, i feel something like that sometimes. those times are usually busy times that i have a lot of things to do, things i want to finish at a certain time, usually within a day but there's just too many of them that i couldn't finish them all. but there are also times when i'm not that busy and just thinking of the things i have to finish, and just thinking of them makes me feel like i don't have much time to finish them all. ^__^;; and then i would end up delaying them anyways.

I always feel I am short of time. 24 hours a day isn't enough for me at all. I have to work in daytime. After I am home, I have to play with my child and do some housework. So when I can have some free time, it's limited and soon it'll be late. From this week I decide not to sleep very late as it'll be healthier. I love China

Is there anything you can cut back on or miss once in awhile? I had a time when I was doing something 14 days straight with no down time and then even 21 days straight with no down time. So try to have one day for yourself per week. Everyone needs to rest at least once a week. Take care and take care of yourself!
