So a while back I had posted some discussions about me being really bad in debt. Well over the past few months I have paid down most of my store/credit cards. They are below the limit now and much more affordable for me to pay off. I still have a lot of stupid debt like utility companies and cable companies and I will get to those as soon as these are almost paid off. It feels really good to pay my bills! Who knew?! Hubby isn't working right now and I am working at the Coroner's office and at this commission only job right now so I am really glad that the bills are more affordable. Anyone else out there working towards getting out of debt? Having any success?

credit cards do nothing but get you in trouble. i don't use them & wait till i have the money to make any purchase. u need to always have a little put back for an emergency.

I am debt as well. The credit card companies do not help you get out of it. They raise the interest, raise you minimum payments from 2% to whatever, so they make it hard to get the principle down. You spend so much money paying on the interest.
I would surely like to pay down, but it is not easy.
Congrats to you for accomplishing what you have done.
