Is Urine Medicinal?

I have often heard people say that urine can cure the worse of medical cases if taken every morning after waking up. I have been trying to contact some doctors to confirm this, but cos of time, I haven't been able to. But one of my friends confided in me one day that when he was diagnosed of a very serious disease, he drank fresh morning urine for two weeks and the disease disappeared. Please someone, medical or otherwise, how can someone take in something that the body has already passes out? Is it medically wise? Is it wrong? Is it sinful? Could it lead to escalation of the disease? Please advise me.

Maybe it's useful for some diseases, I have never heard that. Only thing I know of that it is useful for is removing sea urchin barbs!

The sea urchin thing is actually external, you pee on the spot where it entered the skin. For anything internal, I don't know.
