Do the pregnancy symptoms determine whether the baby will be boy or girl?

For those mom's who have more than one child and have had at least one boy and one girl... I know that pregnancy differs from person to person, and that if someone has 2 boys the pregnancies can differ. What I'm really wondering is if there was a significant difference between your pregnancies with your boy and girl.

From my experience (and I have 5 kids) they were all different. As far as significant difference, I think there are a lot of things that may play into that. Mom's age and health, time of year and so on.

I guess since mine are so close there aren't many differences. That makes sense.

I have 2 girls and a boy. There really weren't any significant differences except that I think I was a lot less nauseous with my son. I was also a lot older though, he was born 10 years after my second daughter. I don't know if that would be a factor though but I would imagine my hormones might have been different at 38 than they were at 28.

I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up, I've been craving different things than before but thats about it.
