Facebook? Is there something I'm missing?

I joined Facebook awhile back. Found some friends and even family on there. I know some people that just love it and live almost all day on there. lol
Is there something I'm missing here? I keep trying to get the hang of it. But with all the add ons it seem to get more confusing. Is there a way to work it without loading up all this stuff on your page?
If you can help out here. Please let me know.

I don't go to face book very often. But, I do go to my space and myyearbook.com. I love my yearbook more better, way better than my space. Lots of things you can do, explore and add contents or delete them. It'll take a while to learn...

Thanks I've been on myspace for years. Have a lot of friends on there. It's been great to us.
Wish it paid like this though. Wouldn't that be something?

Although I am a member of Facebook, I must admit I just don't get it.
I know I haven't got a lot of time and I am not very patient, but it just doesn't seem to make any sense. I keep going to it and hanging on to it in case I am missing something, but it still doesn't do it for me.
Perhaps if I persevere, it might just fall into place.

Yeah thats what I keep hoping for. I think its all the add on poke mes and bite mes and give flower type of stuff I just have a hard time with. But then again I may be missing it somewhere. lol

I was in your same position a long long time ago. I transitioned from myspace to facebook and it seemed way more confusing, but now i've gotten the hang of it. It has a lot better features then myspace so i enjoy it a lot more. I'd have to discuss it more thoroughly with you though and run you through it. Do you have any instant messaging or anything that i could run you through it fast? It's really enjoyable, just keep trying to get a hang of it. Good luck!

Thank you kitchen, I'm looking forward to it. I do have Yahoo messenger. Don't have it on much though. To many people to talk to at once. lol
