Hi Polly'-I see and have always seen our soul as spirit-it is our character humour etc and is like an elastic band in our dreams sometimes we can leave our body and actually have vivid dreams as if we are actually there that is when our spirit leaves our body yet when we wake has come back-I beleive that it is our spirit that keeps us alive though we have to keep our physical body fed to keep it healthy-your friend littleowl

soul for me is an unseen censor board in our body. it prohibits us from the wrong doings. it encourages us to do the right ones. it links us with the almighty. it keeps us on our toes in our life, makes us aware when we go wrong. and whenever we do some act against the will of the soul, we are bound to be punished. no doubt it forgives and gives discount on punishments at times. but my friend, the censor board is always inside you, showing you the path. it is for us to decide whether we take it or not.
