I know that I haven't put out alot of continuances to the stories that I started and I know that you have all been patient with me and I am continuing with one idea tonight and was hoping to get it out before I go to bed but it truely looks grim that I will be able to achieve that because the words are not flowing as easily and colorful and as descriptive as I want them to .. I have lost my vision for this one and I'm trying to get it back. My question to you is if you have ever written a short or a story how do you get back a vision that you might have lost?

Don't worry you will get your thought back for what you were writing. I have not written any short stories and i have never tried. I don't think that I have the skills for that. I can start writing one thing then later on end up with something different then what i started with. But this will past you will get your flow back. Have a nice one.

Thanks I have realized that when I write the story I might have an idea about the story but once it starts it's like a living breathing thing of it's own and goes where it wants. I just hope to regain that within the next month or two. LOL!!

music.. usually when i start writing anything, i have music on that helps with the mental imagery of what im trying to convey on paper. when i get stuck and the words arent flowing, i put the pen down (or walk away from the keyboard) turn the music back on that inspired me in the first place.. create the "dream" once again in my mind, and the words once again flow freely.

I let the story or whatever I'm writing totally go. I stop thinking about it. One day, it will pop right back into your head and you'll finish it. If you think about it too hard, the writers block gets worse.

Just set it aside for awhile bella. Move on to something else. Give your mind a rest from that particular story. If it was meant to be written your brain WILL come back to it. This happens to me a lot, and I find that just setting it aside for awhile often does the trick. Your mind won't forget it and somewhere in the background will keep working at it. Trust your subconscious to know what to do or not to do with it. Otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy and get discouraged. Good luck.

Thanks hun, I think I'm frustrated because I have so many stories on the burner and none of them seem to be going any where. LOL!!! I wish I could get then to go somewhere instead of just stuck in no motion. Well I did get a little more worked out in the one story and I posted it but something about it just isn't sitting right with me and I can't quite place what. if you know what I mean .. I do hope that you'll bounce over and read it and give me some pointers. Take care and I'll talk to you later.

I don't write stories, but thoughts and poems, They are my escape for the world, when I get stuck, I take a drive, I do something fun, and usually the words come back, Like 123, so strange, I knew a person once who said when they got stuck, they would stop and go somewhere or make a phone call, usually walking was great, Good luck, and it will come back, we never really lose it, it just finds a new home in our brain for a short time, Relax, have fun, and it will happen, I also pray, it helps.
