Did that one doctor play sam in lord of the rings??

when i first saw this show and i saw the short character, i thought he looked familiar. it wwasnt until later on that i realised that he looked so familiar. i thought for sure he was sam from lord of the rings but my sister said he wasnt. i didnt believe her and i still strongly believe that he is in fact sam. is he or is he not. that is the question......

Nope, the other people and your sister are right, the guy on Grey's anatomy did not play in lord of the Rings.

Are you referring to George played by T.R. Knight. That's not Sean Astin, the actor who played Sam from Lord of the Rings. Sean Astin was never on Grey's Anatomy. I don't even think they look alike! But anyway, that answers your question, I hope.

The guy who played Samwise in "Lord of the Rings" was never in "Grey's Anatomy". I have never seen him on the show.
